Calculation Method Summary
- Convert lot size to acres using 43,560 sq ft per acre.
- Compute base allowed units as lot acreage multiplied by base density and round down.
- Compute maximum units with bonus as lot acreage multiplied by base density multiplied by 4, then round down.
- Compute units above base as proposed units minus base allowed units, not below zero.
- Compute required attainable units as round up of 15% of units above base.
- Apply AMI rules: min at or below 80% AMI rounds to nearest whole, max at 100% to 120% AMI rounds down, and remaining units are 80% to 100% AMI.
